17th NTRCA written exams begin May 5

The written examinations of 17th teacher registration under the Non Government Teacher Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) will begin May 5.

NTRCA issued a circular in this regard on March 23.

It released the results of preliminary examination on February 22 last year. The pass rate against participating candidates was 24.89 percent, and a total of 1 lakh 51 thousand 436 candidates passed the examination.

A record number of 11 lakh 93 thousand 178 candidates applied for a preliminary examination at school-2, school, and college levels.

Among them, 6 lakh 8 thousand 492 candidates participated in the examination. The number of candidates who passed the exam was 15 thousand 379 at the school-2 level, 62 thousand 864 at the school level, and 70 thousand 193 at the college level.
