Actress Shimana passes away

Popular model and actress Rista Laboni Shimana passed away on Tuesday morning due to a brain hemorrhage.

She was 39.

Ejaz Bin Ali, elder brother of the actress confirmed the news.

She left behind her husband, two sons and many well-wishers to mourn her death.

Earlier on May 21, she was admitted to a hospital in the capital’s Dhanmandi. Later, she was taken to national institute of neuroscience and underwent a brain surgery on May 25.

From there, she was taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital where she died today while undergoing treatment.
