Shilpakala Academy gets new DG

The interim government has appointed Syed Jamil Ahmed, renowned theater director and the founding chairman of the Department of Theater and Performance Studies at Dhaka University, as the new Director General (DG) of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA).

The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification on Monday (September 9), confirming his appointment.

Syed Jamil Ahmed will serve as the DG of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy for a two-year term.
