Singer Moni Kishore found dead

Renowned singer Moni Kishore was found dead at his home in the capital’s Rampura area on Saturday night (October 19).

Police said the popular singer from the 90s, died couple of days ago. The reason behind the death could not be confirmed instantly.

The victim’s flat was found locked from inside. Smelling a bad odor, neighbors called emergency service 999. Later, police recovered the body.

Confirming the matter, Rampura police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ataur Rahman Akan said the body was sent to hospital for autopsy.
