Moni Kishore laid to rest

Moni Kishore, a popular singer from the nineties was laid to rest at Banashree graveyard on Thursday night (October 24).

Lyricist Milton Khandaker confirmed the matter.

Moni Kishore was buried after Namaz-e-Janaza at Baitul Jannat Jame Masjid at Banasree in Rampura around 10:00 pm.

Lyricist Milton Khandaker said that Moni Kishore's daughter, Ninty Chowdhury, sent an official document, which was collected from the police station this afternoon. After getting the written documents, the administration allowed us to bury him in the nearby cemetery.

Earlier on October 19, the body of the singer was recovered from his residence in Rampura of the capital.
