Singer Nancy`s infant daughter dies

Entertainment Correspondent: National Award-winning playback singer Nazmun Munira Nancy lost her infant daughter who had been suffering from various physical complexities right after her birth.

Alina Jafrin, the third daughter of Nazimuzzaman Jayed -Nancy couple, breathed her last on Saturday morning, 17 days after her birth.

"She had been suffering from various complexities right after her birth and kept inside Intensive Care Unit (ICU)," Nancy told risingbd.com. "Our daughter had two operations too, but we could not save her," the singer added.

She also requested all to pray for the departed soul of her daughter.

Popular singer Nancy won various awards for her voice in many songs including National Film Awards in the Best Female Playback Singer category in Projapoti movie in 2011.

Jayed -Nancy couple have two other daughters - Rodela and Nayla.
