Bari Siddiqui on life support

Entertainment Correspondent: Eminent folk singer-composer and flautist Bari Siddiqui has been put on life support.

He was put on the life support at Square Hospitals in Dhaka after he suffered heart attack early on November 17. He is now at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

Doctors said that Bari Siddiqui is suffering from multiple complications, including kidney problem and diabetes. His both kidneys are damaged.

Sabbir Siddiqui, son of Bari Siddiqui, said that his father is a kidney patient for the last two years. He has been undergoing dialysis three days in a week since last year, the son said.
