Sridevi's funeral on Monday

Entertainment Desk: The funeral of veteran Bollywood actress Sridevi, who passed away on Saturday night in Dubai following a cardiac arrest, is expected to take place at the Santacruz crematorium in Mumbai with state honor.

Her body is expected to be flown back to Mumbai on a plane specially chartered for the task on Sunday night.

From there she will be taken to her family at her residence and funeral arrangements will begin.

The actress has been in UAE since last week. The late actress was there along with husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi Kapoor to attend Mohit Marwah’s wedding with the entire Kapoor Khandaan.

Though husband Boney and Khushi returned to Mumbai two days ago, Sridevi decided to extend her holiday and continued to be at the hotel.

Husband Boney is currently in Dubai along with a few family members to get custody of Sridevi’s body.

The prayer meet (Chautha) will most likely happen on Tuesday.
