Celebrities join students' demo for road safety

Entertainment Correspondent: A group of celebrities joined the students’ demonstration expressing solidarity with the agitators at the capital’s Uttara demanding safe roads.
They gathered at Uttara House Building intersection on Thursday and took the street. Lutfor Rahman George, Munira Mithu, Urmila Shrabonti Kar, director Sokal Ahmed, Choyonika Chowdhury, Nadia Ahmed, Shabnam Faria, among others attended the demonstration.
They brought out a procession in the area demanding safety on roads. They carried a banner demanding security to life.
Earlier on Wednesday, a group of actors including Tousif Mahbub, Zakia Barim Mom, Nazia Haque Arsha, Noushin Nahrin Mou, Nadia Ahmed, Nabila Islam, Tanjim Hassan, among others, took part in the movement.
Meanwhile, apart from small screen stars, actors and actresses of the film industries and singers also expressed their solidarity with the students’ movement posting status on Facebook.
