Film director Anwar Siraji hospitalised

Film director Anwar Siraji has been hospitalised with critical cardiac ailment.

He was admitted to National Heart Institute on Sunday after he suffered a cardiac arrest.

Screenwriter M A Shahid confirmed the news.

He said, Anwar Siraji is currently undergoing treatment under Dr Khandoker Shahid in the hospital. He will be undergone a coronary angiogram in a day or twos. Bangladesh Film Directors' Association is maintaining contacts timely over his health.
