Actress Eka detained

Actress Eka was detained from her residence at Hatirjheel in the capital on charge of torturing domestic help.

She was arrested around 9:00pm on Saturday (July 31).

Hatirjheel police station officer-in-charge (OC) Abdur Rashid said, the actress was detained for torturing her house maid.

Sources said police conducted a drive around 7:00 pm at her residence in Rampura. Later, two female police officers took her to the police station.

Meanwhile, illegal liquor and Yaba pills were recovered during the drive.
