Nipun appeals for recounting votes

Actress Nipun has filed an appeal for recounting votes in Bangladesh Film Actors’ Association election held on January 28.

The actress filed an application in written in this regard around 1:00 pm on Saturday (January 29).

Appeal Board Chairman Sohanur Rahman Sohan confirmed the matter.

He said, “Nipun appealed for recounting votes.  Appeal Board has sat with documents of the voting. Reviewing continues now.”

In the polls, Elias Kanchan has been elected as president while Zayed Khan general secretary. Zayed Khan secured 176 votes, beating his nearest candidate Nipun who got 163 votes.
