Emon Khan’s new song ‘Chitar Agoon’, penned by Shamim Hossen, released

Emon Khan’s new song ‘Chitar Agoon’ was released on Sunday (March 20).

The song was written by sports journalist Shamim Hossen. Real Ashique composed and Tuned by the singer. The song, produced by Milon Khan, has been released on ‘Hi Speed Production’ YouTube channel. ‘Chitar Agoon’ is the second song of Shamim Hossen. Popular actor Fazlur Rahman Babu sang his first song ‘Dukher Pheriwala’.

Emon Khan is very optimistic about the song. He said, “I first sang a song written by Shamim Bhai. The lyrics are awesome. Everyone’s heart will be touched. The song evokes a different emotion. Honestly, after singing I fell in love with the song. Real Ashique has always made good music. In addition to giving voice, I also tuned this song. Hope everybody will enjoy it. No one will be disappointed.”

Lyricist Shamim Hossen said, “I choose the singer first and then I write the song. I try to write the kind of songs that people are used to hearing in the voice of the singer. I also followed the subject while writing songs for Emon Bhai. ‘Chitar Agoon’ is my second song. In this song, listeners will find the real Emon Khan. Everyone will pray for me. I want to give you more good songs in the future.”

Shamim Hossen is working as a sub-editor in the sports department of the daily Jugantor. Besides journalism, Shamim regularly wrote and directed drama and short films. His first short film ‘Jodi Thake Nasibe’ was released in 2019. Since then, he has written and directed three dramas and more than 20 short films. Among his notable works are- ‘Jodi Thake Nasibe’, ‘Nawab Alam’, ‘Preem Shamrat’, ‘Kathgaray Mayer Somman’, and ‘Jadur Box’. Shamim has also acted in several short films including ‘Drama Tafaling Jamai’.
