Actress Apu Biswas files GD

Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas has filed a General Diary (GD) with the capital’s Bhatara Police Station after she lodged a written complaint with Detective Branch (DB) of Police.

She on Sunday (August 6) evening took the measure over piracy and creating offensive content.

ADM Asaduzzaman Apu, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhatara Police Station, confirmed the matter.

Earlier, she talked to the reporters in front of DB office in the capital on Sunday afternoon.

She said, “Cyberbullying disrupts people’s normal lives. Nobody expects it. Because at the end of the day, we all live in families. We also have a family position. Maybe I’m an actress, but I have to face a lot of news for various times. We are losing out on the competition to increase views. ‘The Laal Saree’ movie is a result of my very hardship. I came to DB to talk about piracy over the film.”

Apu Biswas said, “I have made a movie called ‘Laal Saree’. I have complained to the DB office to prevent piracy of ‘Laal Saree’ and creating objectionable content on Facebook. A few days ago, the movie ‘Surongo’ fell victim of piracy. After being victim, the film’s team came to DB. The Laal Saree picture is result of much hardship. I came to DB to talk about piracy over this film.”
