We should not drink juice of these fruits, vegetables

Juice of any fruit and vegetable is a healthy and refreshing beverage that serves many health benefits.  However, we should avoid juice of some fruits and vegetables as those are not safe to consume and might have some hazardous effects on our health. A list of some fruits and vegetables, which juice is not healthier, are given below.

Pineapple: Pineapple is a fruit that contains many vitamins, minerals and fiber. One can get those, if he or she consumes a fresh fruit directly. On the other hand, its fresh juice contains a whole lot of sugar. It can raise blood sugar and insulin levels, which are harmful to diabetic patients.

Apple: Apple juice can be harmful if it is taken with seeds. Apple seeds contain a chemical compound named amygdalin. If it is metabolized by the digestive system, it may become poisonous.   So, we must remove seeds before making apple juice.

Pear: We can prepare delicious pear juice, but it may not be healthy for everyone. The people, who are sensitive to fructose, may face several problems. A pear fruit contains sorbitol, a non-digestible form of sugar, which may cause some digestive problems like acidity, quick bowel movement and abdominal pain.

Citrus peels: Citrus peels are a powerhouse of vitamin C and antioxidants. Many people make juice using peels to get those benefits directly. But, it may be harmful as it contains compounds that irritate the digestive system.  Citrus peels may be used in cooking.

Broccoli: Broccoli is a nutrient-rich vegetable that has many health benefits like reducing inflammation, improving blood sugar control, boosting immunity and promoting heart health. Many people want to get vitamins C and K1, potassium and manganese directly through drinking the juice. But, broccoli juice is difficult to digest, and it may cause many digestive problems like bloating, cramps or acidity.

Vegetables: Many leafy vegetables like Puishak or Spinach contain a high amount of calcium, vitamin A and vitamin C.  However, those contain a high amount of oxalates that can be harmful for heath. The people who have kidney stone problem should avoid vegetable juice. According to the medical science, consumption of huge oxalates can have severe effects on health, such as making prone to kidney stones.
