Forbes lists Sheikh Hasina 46th most powerful woman

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ranked 46th on the Forbes list of the world's 100 Most Powerful Women of 2023.

Last year, she was ranked at 42.

The latest edition of the list, The World’s Most Powerful Women of 2023, was released at 6:30 am on December 5, 2023 (USA time).

Sheikh Hasina Wajed, the longest serving prime minister in the history of Bangladesh, is currently serving her fourth term. She is also the world's longest-serving female head of government.

She won the fourth term, which is also her third consecutive term, after her party, Bangladesh Awami League, won 288 of the 300 parliamentary seats._Agencies.
