Facebook, Instagram, Threads down worldwide

A massive Meta outage is locking users out of Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Threads worldwide.

Facebook, Instagram, and Threads are all experiencing issues. The three Meta-owned platforms aren’t working for many users, with the widespread outage seeming to start around 10AM ET.

Facebook is logging users out of their accounts, leaving them unable to get back in. Meanwhile, over on Instagram, some users can’t refresh their feeds. 

Reports on DownDetector rapidly spiked for all three platforms Tuesday, and Meta has yet to acknowledge the issue.
