Saudi Arabia announces 6-day Eid Al Fitr holiday

Saudi Arabia has announced a six-day holiday for both public and private sector employees for Eid Al Fitr from April 8 to April 13, reports gulfnews.
The holiday begins on Monday, extending through to Thursday, April 11. With Friday and Saturday already designated as weekend in the Kingdom, residents can enjoy a six-day break. Employees of both private and public sector will resume work on Sunday, April 14.
Eid Al Fitr marks the end Ramadan, which began on March 11 this year in Saudi Arabia.
If the month of Ramadan lasts 29 days, Eid will be observed on April 9. If it extends to 30 days, then Eid will be celebrated on April 10 there.
