SSC results handed over to PM

Copies of the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations-2024 have been handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The Prime Minister will later publish the results formally.

Chairpersons of the education boards handed over the statistics of the results to the Prime Minister at her official residence Ganabhaban at 10am on Sunday (May 12).

Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury Nowfel will brief the details of the results at a press conference at the Secretariat around 12:30pm.

Later, the results will be published at the respective educational institutions and online simultaneously.

Students can avail their results through SMS after the official announcement.  To get results under general boards through SMS, candidates have to type SSC, the first three letters of the board name, followed by the candidate’s roll number and the year, and send the message to 16222. For example:  SSC Dha 123456 2024 Send to 16222।

Alternatively, they can also get results from http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, entering their roll and registration numbers.

This year, SSC and its equivalent examinations began across the country on February 15. The written exams ended on March 12 and the practical exams concluded on March 20.

A total of 2,024,192 students appeared for the SSC, equivalent examinations under 11 education boards.
