Over 1000 pilgrims died during Hajj this year

More than 1,000 people died during this year’s Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. Most of them died due to extreme heat wave, reports reuters on Sunday.
Most of the victims were Egyptians. The death toll of Egyptian has risen to 672 and 25 are still missing.
According to the data from the Indonesian government, a total of 236 citizens of the country have died. A total of 98 citizens of India have died, according to India's Ministry of External Affairs. Tunisia, Jordan, Iran and Senegal reported more civilian deaths. Some 1,114 people died during this year's Hajj, said reuters.
Licenses of 16 tourist agencies have been suspended and case filed against them for sending hajj pilgrims illegally, said Egypt authorities. These organizations have been blamed for the deaths.
