Landslide Labour win ends 14 years of Conservatives

It was already assumed that the Labor Party was going to win the UK elections. After the counting of votes, this prediction became true. Labor party came to power in Britain after 14 years.

Labor party leader Keir Starmer will become the next Prime Minister of the country and can form a majority government.

After counting the results, the Labor Party secured victory by getting 326 seats in the 650-seat House of Commons.

Conservative Party leader Rishi Sunak has conceded defeat. Rishi said, he has already congratulated Starmer.

The UK parliament is due to return on July 9. The Speaker of the House of Commons - parliament's lower chamber - will be elected from among members of parliament (MPs).

Each MP will then in turn swear the oath of allegiance to the king or make a solemn affirmation.
