Australia celebrates New Year with fireworks

As cities across the world gear up for New Year celebrations highlighting local cultures and traditions, Australia welcomed the New Year with fireworks. 

Australia is a vibrant country with both the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean surrounding it. 

And not just that, this is also one of the places to visit in December as the weather is warm which is perfect to escape the winter. 

During the New Year’s Eve in Australia, many locals, expats and tourists get together at popular places throughout the cities and towns of the country to witness the fireworks. 

New Zealand’s Auckland has become the first major city to welcome 2025 with thousands of revellers counting down to the new year and cheering at colourful fireworks launched from New Zealand’s tallest structure, Sky Tower, and a spectacular downtown light show.
