220 Bangladeshis stranded at Kolkata airport

A total of 220 Bangladeshi passengers have been stranded at Netaji Subhash Chandra International Airport in Kolkata.
They have been in extreme condition there since Sunday (January 5) night. The passengers complained that they were not given water till noon. There is also no exact answer, when they will be returned to Dhaka.
On Sunday night, a Malindo air (flight number OD-162) bound for Dhaka from the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur made an emergency landing at Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Airport due to dense fog.
Airport authorities said the plane was scheduled to depart from Kuala Lumpur Airport at 10 pm but was delayed by an hour. The plane was scheduled to arrive in Dhaka at 3 am. However, due to dense fog, the plane landed in Kolkata with 220 passengers on board.
