Ship carrying 6,000 MT rice from India arrives

A cargo vessel arrived at Chattogram Port from India carrying 6,000 tonnes of parboiled rice on Saturday (8 March).

The rice was brought under a contract (Package-2) through an international tender.

A release signed by Imdad Islam, public relations officer of the food ministry, said necessary measures were taken to ensure the unloading activities.
