Bangladesh receives $81 crore in remittance in 8 days

Expatriate Bangladeshis sent US$ 81.43 crore in remittances during the first eight days of March in the fiscal 2024-25.

The country received $81,42,90,000 in remittances during the first eight days of March.

As per Bangladesh Bank (BB) available data on Monday (March 10), state-owned banks brought in $23,13,50,000. Besides, specialized banks brought in $6,84,50,000, private sector banks brought in $51,29,40,000 and foreign sector banks brought in $15,40,000 remittances.
