Eid to be celebrated in Saudi Arabia on Sunday 

Saudi Arabia has announced that the Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated in the country on Sunday, March 30.

The announcement came after the Shawwal crescent moon was sighted on Saturday evening.

The moon-sighting committee convened after Maghrib prayers and verified the sighting of the new moon, marking the end of Ramadan after 29 days of fasting. 

This aligns with the Islamic tradition of determining the start of a new month through lunar observation.
