SSC exams begin today

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations-2025 will begin Thursday (April 10) and will end May 13.

The three-hour tests will start at 10am.

Candidates will be able to use ordinary scientific calculators during the exams. However, no one other than the center secretary will be allowed to use mobile phones in the exam halls.

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a restriction on public movement within 200 yards of examination centres.

The SSC and SSC (Vocational), Dakhil and Dakhil (Vocational) examinations will be held at various examination centers in Dhaka Metropolitan City.

This year, around 19.28 lakh students are expected to sit for the exams, which is, on average, over one lakh fewer than that of the last four years.
