Verdict on 4 Moulvibazar war crimes accused any day

Staff Correspondent: The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) will deliver its verdict any day against four Moulvibazar men in a case filed for allegedly committing crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971.
The three-member tribunal headed by ICT chairman Justice Md Shahinur Islam kept the verdict waiting after it completed hearing from both the prosecution and the defense counsel on Tuesday.
The accused are Md Akmal Ali Talukder, 76, Abdun Nur Talukder alias Lal Miah, 62, Md Anis Miah, 76, and Md Abdul Mosabbir Miah, 64.
Only Md Akmal Ali Talukder, is now in jail but other three are on the run.
They face the charges of committing genocide and other war crimes at different places of Rajanagar police station and Moulavibazar town in the then Moulvibazar sub-division during the Liberation War.
