At least 22 dead in multiple mass shootings in US city

At least 22 people have been killed and up to 60 wounded in mass shootings in Lewiston, Maine, reports reuters.

Local police said in a Facebook post they were dealing with a shooting incident that first broke out at a bowling alley on Tuesday night local time.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office posted two photographs of the suspect on Facebook, saying he was at large.

On its website, Central Maine Medical Centre said staff were "reacting to a mass casualty, mass shooter event" and were coordinating with area hospitals to take in patients._Agencies.
