NASIR UDDIN CHOWDHURY: Engineer Abu Hanip, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of PeopleNTech, wants to make 10,000 IT graduates in Bangladesh.
The USA based organization of Abu Hanip already has created job opportunities for three thousand Bangladeshis and most of them are now earning 80,000 to 150,000 US dollars each year in America.
If more organizations come forward, Bangladesh may earn billion dollars annually in USA and others countries by acquiring jobs going there through air journey. This is the dream of Abu Hanip.
Abu Hanip, after completing his study in Chittagong Engineering University, went to USA though DV lottery in 1996. Then it took only few years to make his fortune.
Professionally established Abu Hanip recently visited the popular online news portal risingbd.com and expressed his dream about producing 10,000 IT experts in Bangladesh.
Following his dream, Abu Hanip came to Bangladesh and started a training institute in Dhaka.
Abu Hanip said that when I went to America and found that most of the Bangladeshis were involved in doing odd jobs. I was not an exception. I had to do odd jobs. Then I realized that there is no alternative of changing the trends.
He also said that though I completed masters but couldn’t attain any experience. All companies wanted experience but I had no experience. Later, I started doing various courses like ORACLE, DBA, JAVA etc. and got a good job. Then I shared my experiences with my friends but they did not pay heed to me. At one stage, one of my friends, who completed bachelor degree in computer showed interest. I trained him and he got a better job than me.
Later, many people started visiting my residence to take training and I trained them during my day offs. At one stage, I opened a training center and I have four offices in America, he added.
He told that there are so many unemployed people in Bangladesh though they have completed academic studies. The only cause of their unemployment is skill. Those who want to go abroad for job; they can train themselves through my training institution in Bangladesh.
Through a calculation, he showed that PeopleNTech has trained 3,000 Bangladeshis in the USA who are earning one lakh dollars yearly on an average.
According to the calculation, the total income stands at $ 30-crore. If they send 20 percent of their income, the country is getting $ 6-crore annually. This is the contribution of PeopleNTech alone and if other such trainer joins in the race then the income will exceed billion dollars. And it is possible.
PeopleNTech is an authorized institution by American Board of Education and Employment Agency, Abu Hanip added.
