2 bikers killed after being hit by truck in Dhaka

Two motorcyclists were killed as an unidentified truck hit their motorcycle in Banglamotor area in Dhaka early Wednesday (November 8).

The deceased were known as Ariful Islam, 40, son of Khairul Islam, and Souvik Karim, 42, hailed from Noakhali.

The accident took place at about 12:15am.

Hatirjheel police station sub-inspector Sajib confirmed the matter.

He said on information, police rushed to the spot, recovered the bodies and sent them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examination.
