48 BGB platoons deployed for security of garment factories

48 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were deployed in Dhaka and adjoining districts to ensure security as the 48-hour countrywide fresh blockade called by the BNP, Jamaat, and like-minded opposition parties began this morning (November 8).

Md Shariful Islam, Public Relations Officer of the BGB, confirmed the matter.

He said apart from this, the adequate number of police personnel are deployed across the country to maintain law and order situation.
