Bus set on fire at Jhigatola, one detained

Miscreants set a passenger bus on fire in front of Border Guard Bangladesh headquarters in the capital’s Jhigatola area at around 9:17 pm on Wednesday (November 8).

Being informed, two units of fire service rushed to the spot and doused the fire, said duty officer of fire service headquarters Rakibul Hasan.

Locals caught a man in this connection and handed over him to police.

Another bus was set on fire in Kakoli area at night. There were no reports of casualties in the incident.
