Four buses torched in capital

At least four buses were torched in the capital on Saturday night.

Duty officer of Fire Service Headquarters Ershad Hossain said miscreants set fire to four buses at Kallyanpur, Arambagh, Motijheel and Jatrabari.

According to sources, miscreants set fire to a bus around 8:20pm in front of Notre Dame College, a bus around 8:30pm near Kallyanpur bus stand, a bus around 9:00pm at Motijheel and a bus around 9:30pm at Jatrabari.

Being informed several fire service units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

Officers of police, RAB and other agencies visited the spots.
