152 BGB platoons deployed across the country

As many as 152 platoons of BGB have been deployed across the country to maintain law and order situation.

Shariful Islam, public relations officer (PRO) at BGB headquarters, confirmed the development on Sunday morning (November 12).

He said a total of 152 platoons of BGB personnel were deployed across the country. Among the deployment, 27 platoons were deployed in Dhaka and adjoining areas. Besides, sufficient BGB personnel were kept standby.

For the fourth time, BNP and its ally are observing 48-hour countrywide blockade to press home their one-point demand ahead of the national election.
