Projapoti Paribahan bus set ablaze in Mirpur

Miscreants have set a passenger bus of Projapoti Paribahan in the capital’s Mirpur-10 roundabout on the first day of the fourth round of blockade called by BNP and other opposition parties.

Lima Khanam, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters, said the bus was set on fire around 1:10 pm and two firefighting units of Mirpur Fire Station rushed to the spot around 1:13 pm after being informed about the fire. The fire was doused around 1:15 pm.

However, no casualties were reported so far in this connection.
