Cocktail blast: 10 BNP men jailed

10 BNP leaders and activists including Abdul Alim Naki, a leader of Dhaka city’s north unit, have been sentenced to two years and seven months in a cocktail blast case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Sheikh Sadi pronounced the verdict on Tuesday (November 14).

The court also issued warrant arrests against them as the convicts have remained absconding.

According to the case statement, the accused vandalized vehicles and exploded a cocktail in the capital’s Bananni area on September 19, 2018.
