Shakib collects Awami League nomination form

Bangladesh national cricket team caption Shakib al Hasan has bought a nomination form from Awami League to contest the Dhaka-10 constituency in the 12th national election.

Relatives of cricket superstar bought the nomination form from the AL central office at Bangabandhu Avenue on Saturday.

Awami League Office Secretary Barrister Biplob Barua confirmed the news.

According to sources, the all-rounder also bought nomination forms for Magura-1 and Magura-2.

Former General Secretary of Chhatra League Siddique Nazmul Alam, who was at the nomination form selling booth, confirmed the news.
