No one could have imagined Bangladesh’s progress in 15 yrs: Joy

Centre for Research and Information (CRI) Chairperson and Prime Minister’s ICT Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy has said that no one could have imagined the progress that has been made in Bangladesh in the last 15 years.

He made the comment after distributing the prizes at the final round of the seventh edition of Joy Bangla Youth Awards at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Youth Development at Savar on Saturday.

“You, the youth sitting in front of me, are making your strides for the betterment of the country. Awami League is working for the country,” he said.

The people witnessed from where Bangladesh has come to today’s position in the last 15 years, he said.

He urged the people to cast their votes in favour of Awami League to ensure the country's future.

“In next 10-15 years, any party named BNP-Jamaat will not sustain in Bangladesh. Peace will come when the terrorist and militant forces won't have any sign in the country,” he said.

In the seventh edition of Joy Bangla Youth Award, some 12 youth organizations in six categories were announced the winners to receive the prestigious youth award at the event that started at 2:20pm and ended at 3:40pm.
