On November 2, Fakhrul’s lawyer Syed Zainul Abedin Mesbah submitted a prayer to the court seeking his bail in the case.
On October 29, the Detective Branch of police detained Fakhrul from his Gulshan residence.
Later, Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Md Rashidul Alam sent him to jail, rejecting his bail prayer after he was produced before the court in the case.
Mentionable, subversive activities were carried out on the residence of Chief Justice on October 28. Following the incident, a case was filed with Ramna Police Station against 59 BNP leaders and activists including Mirza Fakhrul.
