233 platoons of BGB deployed across country

A total of 232 platoons of the Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) have been deployed across Bangladesh to keep the law and order situation under control.

BGB Public Relations Officer Md Shariful Islam confirmed the matter on Thursday (November 23).

He said, among them, 28 platoons are on patrol in Dhaka and the surrounding districts.
