BRTC bus set on fire at Abdullahpur

A double decker bus of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) was set ablaze at Abdullahpur in the capital on Saturday evening, on the eve of the two-day blockade called by BNP and its like-minded parties.

Miscreants set fire to the bus at around 7:00pm.

Rozina Akhter, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence control room, said on information, firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

Many seats of the bus were burnt in the blaze, she added.
