78.64pc pass HSC, equivalent exams

The average pass rate of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations is 78.64 per cent.

Last year, the average pass rate was 85.95 per cent. Compared to that, the pass rate has decreased by 7.31 per cent.

A total of 10,67,852 students passed this year’s HSC exams from all boards.

The results were uploaded to the website of the education board and published in respective educational institutions around 11:00 am on Sunday (November 26).

Earlier, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni along with the chairmen of the education boards handed over the copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10:00 am.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will join a press conference to highlight the overall examination results at 2:00 pm.
