230 platoons of BGB deployed across Bangladesh

A total of 230 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed across the country to maintain law and order.

BGB public relations officer Md Shariful Islam confirmed the matter on Monday morning (November 27).

He said as many as 230 platoons of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were deployed across the country, including 28 in Dhaka and adjacent districts.

The second day of the latest 48-hour countrywide blockade, called by BNP and like-minded opposition parties to press home their one-point demand, is underway.
