Country is in "crisis" over the election: CEC

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal said the country is in "crisis" over the election. There is doubt regarding trust.

The CEC said this while addressing a training program for electoral enquiry committee at Electoral Training Institute (ETI) on Monday morning (November 27).

Meanwhile, he said, "There is doubt regarding trust. We need to come out of it. Everybody should discharge their duties responsibly."

He also said that there is a pressure from foreigners. We have to keep that in mind. They don’t want much. They want to see our election acceptable.
