Number of female more than male in country

Of the country’s total population, the number of females is more than that of males, according to the population census report by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).

According to the report, Bangladesh’s current population stands at 16 crore 98 lakh 28 thousand 911.

Of the latest population figure, the number of males is 8 crore 41 lakh 34 thousand 3, while the number of females is 8 crore 56 lakh 86 thousand 784, said the population census report published on Tuesday (November 28).
