Directive to transfer all UNOs

The Election Commission has directed the public administration ministry to transfer all Upazila Nirbahi Officers (UNOs) in phases.

On Thursday (November 30), EC Deputy Secretary Md Mizanur Rahman wrote a letter to the senior secretary of public administration ministry.

In the first phase, it asked to transfer all UNOs who have been working in their respective upazilas for more than a year.

Earlier, the Election Commission (EC) directed to transfer all officers-in-charge (OCs) of all police stations across the country ahead of 12th national election.

On Thursday (November 30), EC Deputy Secretary Md Mizanur Rahman wrote a letter to the secretary of the public security division of home ministry to transfer all OCs in phases.
