BNP leaders Amir Khasru, Swapon denied bail

A court in Dhaka dismissed bail petitions of two BNP leaders in a case filed with Paltan Police Station.

The two BNP leaders are party standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and media cell convener Zahir Uddin Swapon.

Dhaka’s First Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Faisal Atiq Bin Quader passed the order on Wednesday (December 6).

Amir Khasru and Swapon were sent to jail on November 10 in a case filed over the killing of police constable Amirul Haque on October 28.
