Two buses set on fire in capital’s Maniknagar

Two buses were set on fire in the capital’s Maniknagar during the blockade called by BNP and its allies on Wednesday afternoon.

Miscreants set fire to the buses, standing in Maniknagar Intersection at around 5:00pm.

No one was injured in the incident. With this, three buses were set on fire in eight and half hours.

Rozina Akhter, duty officer of Fire Service Headquarters, said miscreants set fire to two buses of Ekushey Express. No passenger on the buses at that time. Being informed, three units of fire services rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
