147 BGB platoons deployed across the country

As many as 147 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) forces were deployed across the country to maintain law and order situation on second day of 11th round of blockades called by BNP.

Md Shariful Islam, Public Relations Officer of the BGB, confirmed the matter on Wednesday (December 13).

He said a total of 147 platoons of BGB have been deployed across the country to maintain the law-and-order situation. Among them, 16 platoons have been deployed in Dhaka and its adjoining areas. Besides, an adequate number of BGB platoons were kept ready as standby.
